Blue Parks Science Intern

Isabel is a marine biologist from Argentina with a deep passion for turning science into real conservation impact. She earned her degree in Biological Sciences and her Master's in Aquatic Biology at the University of Buenos Aires, focusing her research on the biodiversity and ecology of zooplankton in the Southwestern Atlantic Ocean. Beyond research, she also collaborates with local NGOs to share her knowledge about Argentina's marine life and conservation challenges through public talks and community outreach.  A certified diver, she takes every opportunity to explore life beneath the waves, whether it's in the cold waters of Argentina or in new places around the world. In her role as a Blue Parks Science Intern, Isabel is eager to help evaluate and promote effective marine protected areas, supporting Marine Conservation Institute's mission.
